EVALUATION ACTIVITY 3

A production company is a company usually responsible for physical production of new media, perfoming arts, film, radio or television program.
The company could also be totally responsible for the funding for the production they may accomplish this through an intermediary.


A production company could be a small company, selling its product to a film studio or presenting it at a theatrical venue, or, in the case of film and television, it may be the studio itself.


A film distributor is a  company or individual that is responsible for releasing films to the public.


A distribution company that i think might be interested in our remake would be myspace tv a social networking site than could release our remake.
If that was to fail we could try going to Zone Horror who are a TV channel who release low budget films as well as giving new directors the chance to screen their own film.

Or if we couldn't get a distribution company at all we would put our film straight on the internet or Film Four to get our names out there, then the next film we'd make should be able to get a distributor. 


If we wanted to get funding for our film we would find a film funding association such as Microwave who can give the break to new directors trying to make a film.. Microwave would only grant you the funding if they think you’re film has potential. To do this you first send them a script of your film and once approved you receive funding from the company.

The opening credits are shown at the very beginning of a film list the most important members of the production.

Producers, co-producers, executive producers, 'also produced by' (credited for various reasons according to contracts and personal scrutiny of the principal producer). Often, though, the name of the producer will be the next-to-last opening credit, just before the director's name is shown.
