Creativity

Creativity
Creativity is a mental process involving the discovery of new i deas or concepts, or new associations of the existing ideas or concepts, fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight.

You cannot use up creativity. The more you use the more you have.

Roger von Oech - Creative thinking involves imagining familiar things in a new light, digging below the surface to find previously undetected patterns, and finding connections among unrelated phenomena.

The creative person i chose is Matt Helders

(born 7 May 1986), he is the drummer for Arctic monkeys, an very astablished band from sheflield.

Helders has remixed many bands tracks and albums such as “T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S (We Rule The World)” and Duran Duran's second single from "Red Carpet Massacre". Matt is also rumoured to be drumming on the Prodigy's new album. He plays drums with We Are Scientists at some of their UK shows as well as remixing their second single "Chick Lit" as a b-side for the vinyl release. He is featured on Toddla T's new album "Skanky Skanky".
Matt  released  Late Night Tales: Matt Helders included a spoken work track performed and written by bandmate Alex Turner.

Helders is one of 3 creators of the Tramlines Festival in Sheffield. I think this is creative of him as he takes annotative of his home town and shows interest for the music and people from sheffield by creating the tramlines festival.
I think what makes him stand out from other creative people is the fact he is a drummer yet does a lot of things outside from that, the one i think stands out the most is the fact he has opened his own clothing line, i think this is very creative of him.

Clothing line

Helders has released his own clothing line, this clothing line consists of a jacket, a zip hood and three t-shirts. The garments went on sale in May 2007 with sales accompanied by a CD featuring an Arctic Monkeys remix by Matt himself and Supreme Being designer Skuff.
