The Plague of the Zombies (1966) Hammer Horror film directed by John Gilling. It stars André Morell, John Carson,Jacqueline Pearce, Brook Williams and Michael Ripper. Sir James Forbes and his daughter, Sylvia, travel to a cornish village, at request of a former pupil of Sir James Forbes. He needs help solving a spate of mysterious deaths, he fears his wife will be next. The main trail leads to the village squire who returned from Haiti with voodoo secrets, and tries to resurrect victims as zombies.
I thought the film was quite slow moving that reflects as it is a very old movie, nearer the end i started to get into it a lot more. It's interesting to see how much horror movies have developed over the years have gone by!
If a movie was released like that now i would have classed it has a PG, back then people would have found it more scary as they haven't seen many horrors before.
