Today I've been watching a lot of credit and open sequences to different kinds of films, I've decided to change the original plan to our opening credit sequence to Imonster as i think we were making it too much like a two minute version of the film itself. Now I am thinking of ideas of how to update, make Imonster modern day and also looking at the different fonts for credits we could use. I have also been trying to experiment with garage band on different kinds of music we can create for our open sequence which has been good fun.
I came up with many idea's today for our title sequence remake of Imonster.
The first scene is going to be an image of a table with a cup of tea and a needle on with a bright light effect flickering 6 times each times the light flickers a bit more tea will be gone. Also on the table will be a peice of paper with one of the cast writen on it for extra effect. After this there will be a still cartoon image. Maybe a couple darts and a photo frame on the table also? ... We shall see as these ideas are bound to change again.
Second scene has a bit of a jumpy camera effect with a tube of chemicals frozen up close up with writen on the chemical another one of the casts name. This will be coming from his right hand side.
Third shot is the same but from the angle of the other hand with another chemical in and another acters name on coming from his left side. then freezing into cartoon with the credits of the acters name on the chemical.
Scene 4 is 'dr marlowe' about to bang both his hands down on the table with it stopping mid shot going cartoon with the camera then zooming in to a picture frame on the table with more credits in then zooming back out to marlowes hands
scene 5 'dr marlowe' hitting the table after the stop from scene four. Tea falling over with credits coming out of the tea onto the table/sheet of paper changing the writing to more credits.
scene 6 marlowe injecting himself with a needle, then him wiping his arm after with credits appearing on his arm right after wiping.
for Scene 7 i was thinking of a close up of marlowes eyes that turn white due to the effects of the injection which i can do on photoshop after filming.
Scene 8 Marlowe putting his coat on/doing shirt and suit up
Scene 9 Marlowe picking up some harrybo as he walks out the door.
